I’ve always believed in the adage, “if you want something done, ask a busy person.”
That certainly holds true for me.
Never quite content enough to sit on the sidelines, take extensive “me” time, or just “veg” in general, I find myself always engaged, busy, and active.
Mind you, I’m not complaining; in fact, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Keeping busy is MY way, but I also know you must be true to yourself, and not try to be anyone else.
But, along with being busy, I know I can also “tough it out” not to the point of harm, but in recognition of the fact that things aren’t always all rosy and nice.
Bad stuff happens, most often unexpected, and mental toughness can help get you through difficult times. Getting it done when times are tough can be trying. It requires a certain degree of fortitude and persistence, and having grit is part of the success formula. Faced with a nasty situation “tough” people rise above and do what they need to do to make things better and get back on track if you will.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this is exactly where insurance can help.
Fender benders, broken water heaters that cause a flood, and household break-ins can happen even when you take good care to ensure that they don’t.
Your financial vulnerability can be lessened with the proper insurance. No, it doesn’t take away the agita associated with the situation, but it means that you can move forward whole, and without any excess emotional and mental stress caused by a financial impact.
The tough get it done and perhaps the first thing they do is make sure they are protected against the circumstances that can compromise their sense of well-being.
